An Outstanding Catholic School

Welcome to the Physical Education Department

The ethos of our department is to provide our students with the tools and motivation to learn and participate in physical activities beyond school years. We aim to foster and develop pupils who are able to make informed choices and are well balanced individuals.

We afford students the opportunity to participate in many extra-curricular activities within Physical Education. These clubs include Netball, Basketball, Football, Fitness, Athletics, Volleyball, Trampoline& Hockey.

Physical Education is taught for two hours weekly for each year group (Yr7-Yr 11). High standards of participation, behaviour and equipment (P.E. Kit) are re-enforced. We have a dedicated team of experienced and creative teachers who endeavour to provide pupils with an interesting and diverse experience within the Physical Education Curriculum. Lessons are fun, enjoyable and challenging.
